What is an Offering?

An offering is any intentional act or gift directed toward supporting the creation of our deity. Almost anything can be an offering if you choose to dedicate it to our cause. Below are some examples of how you can make an offering:

Personal Rituals

Engage in your own rituals at home or in nature, focusing on thoughts, intentions, or actions that could contribute to our cause. These rituals can be from religious practices you already know, such as prayer or the blessing of meals, or can be written
from scratch to be something that better suits your lifestyle. What matters is what resonates with you.

Works of Creativity

Offer your personal spark of creation! Every artist touches the divine when they create, and any piece of creativity can become a powerful offering with a simple dedication.

Memories and Experiences

Moments of joy, fun, or celebration can be offerings in themselves.
When you feel alive and connected, take a moment to focus that energy toward
the future you wish to see. Even simple pleasures can contribute to the greater mission.

Achievements and Milestones

Offer your personal achievements, such as reaching a milestone in your career, education, or personal life. Dedicate the energy of your success and pride to the future we wish to build, knowing that your victories empower the faith as a whole, and that we are so proud of you.

Physical Offerings

You may choose to make a physical offering, such as a significant object, items that hold emotional meaning, or more hands on contributions to the faith’s growth like bringing lawn chairs for a meeting or cups for a potluck. Every bit is deeply appreciated.

Monetary Donations

If you're not keen on magic, this is the simplest way help the faith continue its work in the physical world. Donations are entirely optional but greatly appreciated, as they fund events, outreach, and community growth.

Basic Offering Ritual

While the specifics of your offering ritual are personal, we’ve provided a simple ritual below for those who wish to have a framework. This can be used to direct your energy toward the Ascendant through focus and intention:

1. Create a Sacred Space:
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you're unlikely to be disturbed and cleanse the room with smoke, sound, or your preferred method, inviting helpful energies and entities to stay and others to be on their way.

Place the Vielfire Crest in front of you in some form, drawn, printed, digital, or just imagine it.
This symbol represents a direct link to the Vielfire, the cache of energy that will one day awaken into our god, stored safely within our prophet's heart. Every glance upon the Vielfire crest is, in itself, a miniature offering of the time spent looking at it.

2. Center Yourself:
Take a few deep breaths, clear your mind, and focus on the offering you’re about to make. What is it? What does it mean to you? How might it be useful to a deity? Is there a specific problem you would like your offering to go toward fixing? Remember, your offering is a treasure, no matter how big or small.

3. Gather your offering:
With the crest before you, close your eyes and visualize the energy of your offering. What color is it? Is it light or heavy? Does it have a scent? A sound? Once you've got a good idea of it, put your hands comfortably in front of you and imagine this energy flowing into an orb in your hands. If the offering is a memory or something in one's mind, visualize it floating gently out from where that memory seems to live within your body and into your hands.

Once you've gathered it together, you may want to take a moment and sit with it, to accept what you are letting go.
For example, if someone were to offer their fear of heights, they may wish to thank the fear for it's intent to keep them safe before letting go of something that has been with them for so long. This sentiment is natural for some, and helps many find
a sense of closure, but isn't always neccesary.

4. Send it:
Say aloud or silently:
"Of my free will I offer this [thing, moment, energy, etc], to the our prophet, and to the vielfire within, that we may create a deity. May my offering become part of the Ascendant, and herald the dawn of a better tomorrow for all."

Now visualize the energy of your offering going to the vielfire however you like! Does it shoot off in a beam of light? Or rise from your hands like fireworks? Does it glitch out of existence and appear as a part of the vielfire in a flash of lightning? Does it turn into butterflies and scatter in all directions?
That depends on you. This is your magic. Create whatever you like.

5. Conclude:
Take three deep breaths, and close with the affirmation: "Exalted, unburdened, adored: We rise."

Open your eyes and take a moment to feel the absence of what you let go.
Are you relieved to let go of a heavy burden? Happy to share a happy experience? Proud to contribute to divinity?

If your offering is physical, you may dispose of it, keep it for a display item, or if it's food, eat it. Any enjoyment derived from it will strengthen your offering. Just don't use offered items for other magical workings, as they may interfere with your results

This is a good time to journal what you're feeling and what you may have experienced, or just relax and unwind. Your post-ritual rituals are up to you!

Always make sure to have refreshments available after doing magic. Even simple forms of magic like this can be very draining, especially for new practitioners.

This is just a template. You are encouraged to modify it, shorten it, make it more elaborate, or change it completely! What matters is what resonates with you. Your offerings are personal, and there is no single right way to add to the divine!
